Premier League promoted side Sunderland AFC have announced that Enzo Le Fée’s (25) loan move has been made permanent. The French attacking midfielder initially joined Regis Le Bris’ side on loan from AS Roma during the winter transfer window. Le Fée’s loan move included an option to make the move permanent. It is no surprise to see that Sunderland had triggered it as they earned their way back into the Premier League by defeating Sheffield United in the Championship playoffs at the death. Le Fée played a vital part in Sunderland’s promotion charge.
Le Fée has put pen to paper over a four-year contract with the Black Cats. The former Lorient FC youth product, where he learned his trade with current Sunderland head coach Régis Le Bris, said he has enjoyed his time on Wearside so far. “We shared an incredible experience, and now we get to take the next step. There are greater challenges ahead, but we must face them together, and I can’t wait to play for Sunderland in the Premier League.”
