Chris Coleman’s time in Belgian football may be coming to an end after just a few months. According to Sacha Tavolieri, OH Leuven are considering bringing in David Hubert in place of Coleman for the 2025/2026 campaign. It appears that, despite Coleman only having been public in his ambitions to lead the side into European football contention next season, the club don’t feel like he is the right man to lead them for the upcoming campaign. Instead, they have set their sights on Hubert, who had a brief spell in charge of Anderlecht this season before he was sacked.
Former Wales, Fulham and Sunderland head coach Coleman took over the side in November and managed 27 games, with seven wins, 10 draws and 10 defeats. The side performed poorly in the play-offs, although their main goal had been to remain in the league this season, and that was achieved. OH Leuven have one of the better set-ups in the Pro League but seem to be underperforming year on year. The side are linked to Leicester City through owners. It appears that both clubs are set for managerial changes this season.
