2. Bundesliga side Werder Bremen today announced the departure of 31-year-old forward Yuya Osako who has returned to Japan with Vissel Kobe.
“Yuya expressed his desire to leave the club and return to Japan. With the transfer to Vissel Kobe, we found a solution that suits all parties. We wish Yuya all the best for his future both on and off the pitch,” said sporting director Frank Baumann.
Osako played 87 games in all competitions for Werder Bremen, scoring 15 goals.
