OGC Nice have issued an appeal to people affected by the 14 July 2016 attack to contact the club. The tribute will take place when they host Le Mans on Saturday 5 September, their first home match with supporters.
According to L'Équipe, the Ligue 1 fixture kicks off at 20:45 on matchday three, after the season opener at home to Lorient ended 0-0 behind closed doors last Saturday.
Nice will pay tribute 10 years on to the victims of the attack, which killed 86 people and injured many more. Players will wear a specially designed third kit for the occasion.
The club has asked families, those injured and others affected who are not part of an association or no longer in contact with OGC Nice to come forward so they can take part in the commemorations. A dedicated email address has been provided, mongymmafamille@ogcnice.com.
The tribute will continue throughout the season. The coeur mémoriel, created in 2016, will accompany the Aiglons on their shirts and armbands, and from Nice against Lille on the weekend of 19 September each home match will honour one or more victims.
