OGC Nice want Crystal Palace’s Odsonne Édouard

According to a report from Foot Mercato, OGC Nice are plotting a swoop for Crystal Palace striker Odsonne Édouard (27), as they look to bolster their forward line ahead of a season in the UEFA Europa League.

The striker who first joined Crystal Palace from Celtic in 2021 is familiar with Ligue 1, having been developed in the Paris Saint-Germain academy before making his professional debut on loan to Toulouse FC. Édouard would never make a competitive appearance for PSG, and after his loan to Toulouse would be loaned out to Celtic, which would later become a permanent deal in 2018.

Édouard looks to be on his way out of the London club this summer and has reportedly already turned down an offer to join Girona, having set his sights on returning to Ligue 1 with Nice. Foot Mercato writes that Nice have been progressing in recent days to convince Crystal Palace.
