Franck Haise has said that it would be “logical” for Marcin Bulka (25) to leave OGC Nice this summer. With the Polish goalkeeper’s contract expiring at the end of next season, Nice-Matin understands that he could be available for as little as €15m.
“Just because he has one year on his contract doesn’t mean that he can’t leave for not a lot [of money],” Haise told L’Équipe, referencing Bulka’s contract situation, which renders a summer departure likely. However, Nice-Matin understands that Nice will look for between €15-20m, a relatively meagre figure for the former Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain shot-stopper, who has built quite the reputation with Le Gym.
As per Foot Mercato, Galatasaray have already opened talks to sign the Poland international. It remains to be seen whether he would be tempted to make the move to Turkey. Nice-Matin have even evoked a potential move to local rivals AS Monaco. As confirmed by the Principality club’s CEO, Thiago Scuro, on Monday, they are in the market for the goalkeeper and, despite the asking price, his profile could be of interest.
