Celtic could be in line for a surprise windfall as South Korean striker Oh looks to make a move to VFB Stuttgart. The centre forward is on the move just one year after leaving Celtic Park as KRC Genk look to benefit to make up to £20m on the deal.
In an update from journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Oh is on the way to Germany to complete the move and pen a five year deal.
There was a feeling that there was more to offer from Oh. The change in manager may have contributed to a downturn in minutes but a sale might’ve been premature. Now, Genk will benefit from giving the player a platform and hopefully Celtic have included a sell-on clause.
Oh was signed in Ange Postecoglou’s second season as a replacement for Giorgos Giakoumakis; however, he never really found his feet in Glasgow. In 47 appearances for Celtic, Oh scored 12 goals, before moving on to join Belgian side Genk.
