Saïd Benrahma will continue his journey with Neom SC next season. The Saudi club, newly promoted to the Saudi Pro League, has triggered the purchase option for the Algerian attacking midfielder, who was loaned from Olympique Lyonnais last January.

Arriving mid-season to strengthen an ambitious squad chasing promotion, Benrahma quickly found his place in the team. Thanks to his experience and technical ability, he played a pivotal role in Neom's sporting success, making a significant contribution to the club’s rise to the top division.

This success convinced the management to keep him. The transfer fee is estimated at €15 million, with a possible bonus of an additional €3 million.

From Lyon’s side, this transfer is part of a clear strategy of reorganization. For Benrahma, this new chapter appears to bring a sense of stability after various stints in Europe, most notably at Brentford, West Ham, and Lyon.
