OL have moved to tighten ticketing for the Fenerbahçe return play-off on 26 August in Décines, amid concerns over an influx of Turkish supporters.

According to Le Progres, the club opened sales on Thursday to season-ticket holders first, with resale banned and, if problems arise, liable to legal action.

Whatever the outcome for Paulo Fonseca’s men in the Champions League play-off first leg at Fenerbahçe next Tuesday, the return on Wednesday 26 August, 21:00, is already ringed in the diary for OL and their fans.

The focus is not only sporting. Stars such as Ederson, N’Golo Kanté, Mason Greenwood, Marco Asensio and Romelu Lukaku are listed in the squad of the runners-up of Türkiye.

There is also the memory of previous fixtures in Lyon or Décines against Turkish clubs, which have not all been positive.
