OL to receive only FIFA solidarity if Bradley Barcola leaves PSG | OneFootball

According to Le Progres, OL do not have a sell-on clause for Bradley Barcola, so would only receive five per cent of any fee via FIFA’s solidarity mechanism if he leaves PSG.

Barcola will not extend his PSG contract, which runs until 2028, and speculation over a departure has intensified. Liverpool, Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Chelsea have been linked, although he may not move this year.

Figures reported have reached around €170m as an asking price. Barcola moved from OL to PSG on 31 August 2023 for €45m plus €5m in bonuses.

OL have often added sell-on percentages in past deals for their prospects, but not in Barcola’s transfer. Under FIFA rules, five per cent of any fee is redistributed to clubs that trained a player between the ages of 12 and 23.

If a transfer at those levels materialises, OL’s solidarity cut could still be significant.
