OL host Brest on Sunday at 20:45, with Corentin Tolisso suspended and Rachid Ghezzal a doubt.
According to Le Progres, head coach Paulo Fonseca said Tolisso has major attacking influence. He will not change the system and will instead seek the player who best fits that role.
Ghezzal missed training with an adductor issue and is uncertain. Malick Fofana and Ernest Nuamah remain unavailable.
Fonseca thinks Fofana will return before Nuamah. He added that Nuamah’s situation is more complicated given the nature of his injury, something the staff have already encountered with Orel Mangala.
The group is also without Moussa Niakhaté, who contests the Africa Cup of Nations final with Senegal on Sunday. Fonseca wished him to return as late as possible, which will be the case. He said they hope for good news for him.
Overall the picture is encouraging, with Endrick in good form during Friday’s sunlit session in short sleeves.
