After a punishing run, OL are relieved to have February time to recover and work, with Paulo Fonseca setting out areas to sharpen over the next three quieter weeks.
Le Progres reports that at Nantes their push for the podium took another dent when Endrick was sent off, a decision expected to be converted on Wednesday into a one or two match suspension.
Despite the workload, in what was their ninth match of 2026 and seventh in three weeks, there were no fresh injuries in a spell marked by physical niggles, some linked to overload, affecting Tolisso, Kluivert and Sulc.
Fonseca said he felt tired and delighted for players who are also worn out, adding that with ten men team spirit delivered their 18th clean sheet and the win. He noted the side was almost the same as against Laval, which made the second half tough.
The lighter schedule now offers recovery time and scope to address those improvements through February.
