Olivier Létang has been fined 20,000 euros by the LFP disciplinary commission for his conduct after Lille's 2-2 draw with PSG. According to L'Équipe, the LOSC president received the sanction after appearing before the panel on Wednesday.

The incident followed matchday two of Ligue 1, when Lille were pegged back late by PSG. Under a new off-season policy, the commission now favours heavy fines for club officials over suspensions, which have not always had much effect.

Létang, 53, had faced the prospect of a lengthy ban, having previously been a repeat offender in incidents involving referees. He avoids suspension on this occasion.

He was incensed after PSG levelled beyond the initially announced stoppage time.

Lille sporting coordinator Sylvain Armand received a one-match suspended ban from the touchline, the referees' dressing room and all official functions for his behaviour after the same game.
