Internal sentiment points towards an extension, reflecting Lorient’s form in the league, ninth, and in the Coupe de France. They host Paris FC on 4 February in the last 16.

Pantaloni has indicated he feels good at the club and in the region, and that he has flourished, so he sees no reason to look elsewhere. He added that the decision is not solely his, as reported by Le Télégramme.
