Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush is reportedly at Tottenham Hotspur’s training ground – Hotspur Way – this morning to undergo a medical ahead of completing a deal.
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club have completed a deal for Savinho this morning, and the 27-year-old Egypt international could be next.
Spurs are waiting for the go-ahead to start his medical, and the conditions of a deal have been agreed between all parties involved.
Marmoush is set to become Tottenham’s eighth summer signing following the arrivals of Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes, Jan Paul van Hecke, Martin Dubravka, Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi and Savinho.
Spurs are also looking to add one more attacker, with Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye an option should they miss out on Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo.
Adding Marmoush and Savinho to his attack is huge for Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi.
The Italian could end up with three top attackers this window and he will hope they can all hit the ground running.
The Lilywhites suffered a 3-0 defeat to Brentford in their opening game of the new Premier League campaign at the weekend and will be desperate to return to winning ways.
They are back in action tomorrow when they host Charlton Athletic in the second round of the Carabao Cup.
Spurs welcome Newcastle United in their second Premier League game of the new campaign on Saturday and both Savinho and Marmoush could be featuring.
