Omar Marmoush is set to become a Tottenham Hotspur player on an initial loan move from Manchester City.

Spurs are to continue their summer spending with the signing of the Egyptian on an initial loan with an obligation to buy from Manchester City. That means next season Marmoush will cost the club an initial £50 million with the potential of a further £10 million to be paid in add-ons, the player is said to have already agreed a five-year deal with the club.

Journalist David Ornstein of The Athletic is reporting that Marmoush is set to undergo a medical at the North London club later today, which comes shortly after the signing of Savinho, or Sávio, from City this week for a reported £85 million.

Marmoush initially joined City from Eintracht Frankfurt midway through the 2024/25 season and has since featured 62 times for the Citizens, scoring 16 goals and making four assists.
