Josh Fowler settled it in the 41st minute from the spot, his penalty giving St Johnstone a 2-1 win over Hibernian. The forward had earlier opened the scoring to cap a two-goal display.

He struck first with a left-footed finish from very close range, guiding the ball into the bottom corner in the 17th minute. That early touch in the six-yard area set the tone for his penalty box performance.

He then converted calmly from the spot to restore St Johnstone's lead after Hibs had drawn level (41.). The strike proved the decisive moment before the interval.

After the restart, Fowler headed wide from close range from a Taylor Steven cross (51.). Moments later, he dragged a left-footed attempt past the far post after linking with Steven again (55.).

Fowler finished with four attempts, two on target, and six touches in the box, underlining his threat in the penalty area. He is now first in Scottish Premiership scoring with four goals this season.
