Samir’s hard work and consistency were rewarded. After progressing through several youth categories at Chivas, his strong performances caught the attention of Gabriel Milito’s coaching staff. This earned him a place in the First Team’s preseason ahead of the Apertura 2025 and, later, his first call-up for the Matchday 10 clash against Necaxa.

It was the 84th minute against the Rayos, with Guadalajara leading 2-1, when the long-awaited moment arrived. Samir came on for Diego Campillo and, with one foot on the pitch at Estadio AKRON, made his dream of debuting for the team he loved a reality.

But the story was only beginning. Just six minutes later, Samir produced an absolute golazo. The academy product unleashed a shot from outside the box that put the finishing touch on an unforgettable debut, scoring his first goal for Guadalajara and sealing the Rojiblanco victory.

Continued Growth

His development has also allowed him to remain involved with the First Team. Inda has now taken part in three preseasons with Guadalajara under Gabriel Milito: ahead of the Apertura 2025, Clausura 2026, and Apertura 2026.

A Starting Midfielder for Tapatío

One year after that unforgettable night, Samir has established himself as a starter in Tapatío’s midfield and an important piece of José Meléndez’s system.

Since returning from the Concacaf U-20 Championship with the Mexico National Team, he has missed just one match in the Apertura 2026.

Experience with the Mexico National Team

Samir’s talent has also shone on the international stage. The midfielder has been called up by the Mexico National Teamat various youth levels. Most recently, he experienced one of his biggest moments with El Tri at the 2026 Concacaf U-20 Championship.

At that tournament, Inda contributed to Mexico’s championship run, a result that secured the national team’s qualification for the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup and the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
