The French superstar Kylian Mbappe found the net once again as Real Madrid defeated Barcelona 2-1 on Sunday becoming only 3rd player in the 21st century to score in 4 consecutive Clasicos across all competitions.

A historic streak

With his latest goal at the Santiago Bernabeu, Mbappe joined exclusive list that features only 2 icon of modern football:

  1. Cristiano Ronaldo — scored in 6 straight Clasicos in 2012
  2. Ronaldinho — scored in 4 consecutive meeting between 2004 & 2006

Mbappe’s opener came after brilliant assist from Jude Bellingham who slipped the Frenchman through with perfectly weighted pass.

Mbappe’s explosive pace and pinpoint finish gave Madrid early lead, further underlining his dominance on Spanish football’s biggest stage.

Bellingham makes history too

Not to be overshadowed, Jude Bellingham set his own record becoming the youngest player in the 21st century to both score and assist in El Clasico for Real Madrid.
