The Academy graduate saw off the challenge of both Abdukodir Khusanov and Bernardo Silva to claim this month’s award.

It’s the 21-year-old’s second Etihad Player of the Month success in three months, with Nico also landing the prize in February.

This latest recognition further builds on what has been an outstanding campaign for the England international.

O’Reilly enjoyed another stellar month across April with his technical quality, energy, and tactical adaptability all being instrumental in helping Pep Guardiola’s side win all five games across the Premier League and FA Cup.

Nico also again demonstrated his key goal scoring prowess, heading the crucial opener in a vital 3-0 league triumph away at Chelsea
