Both coaches and players are powering up their game for this year’s Orlando Pride season.

Head Coach Seb Hines has loaded up for the 2026 season that the Orlando Pride is preparing for now. So have the other coaches and players.

Hines has completed his U.S. Soccer Pro License Course. This elevates him to the highest level of coaching in the U.S. This accomplishment aligns with the Pride’s goal of consistently reaching new plateaus.

The training had Hines review and refine his pathway to further team development. He’s already proved himself worthy of his position. Hines is the Head Coach of the Pride when they won the NWSL Championship in 2024.

The course ensured Hines has all the tools to guide the Pride’s progress on the pitch. This progress is vital in the increasing competition level of the NWSL. It is a great time to place this training in the Pride arsenal.

Hines noted that this offseason is longer than last year. So the coaches and players have prepared to use the time to solidify their foundation and focus without rushing. As he put it, they all will be ready to go.

They have loaded the squad with depth through signings and acquisitions. Across the squad and coaching staff, personnel are aware that this depth will be fully utilized in the 2026 season.

Midfielder Haley McCutcheon said this season’s schedule includes many midweek matches with games closely packed. So everyone on the squad will have to stay ready.

The longer offseason affords them more opportunities to work their entire roster into specific drills. As defender Cori Dyke put it, they have ample time to phase each set of game situations that players will face each week.

The first week focused on fitness and technical drills. The squad will build on that foundation as they continue to structure their play toward the 2026 season.

With what they’re building on that foundation, expect the Orlando Pride to go far in this season.
