According to Canal+, Ousmane Dembélé, the 2025 Ballon d'Or winner, is to sign a new Paris Saint-Germain contract running until 2030.

The direction of travel was clear even before the start of the World Cup.

His existing deal runs to 2028, and he quickly made clear he wanted to remain in Paris to try to write history before considering a move outside Europe.

Despite approaches, notably from Saudi clubs, the France international has reached an agreement with the club’s hierarchy. The arrangement suits all parties, with Paris respecting his wish not to push his contractual commitments too high.

The signature is not yet completed, with finalisation planned in the coming weeks.
