Ousmane Dembélé (27) has been on top form for Paris Saint-Germain throughout the 2025-26 campaign, leading Ligue 1 with 20 goals this season.

The 2018 World Cup champion with Les Bleus added two more goals to his tally in Saturday’s 4-1 victory over Stade Rennais domestically, giving him four in his last three top-flight affairs.

In addition, he’s scored five goals in the UEFA Champions League and is the hottest forward in the big five European leagues currently. He is currently tied for the most non-penalty goals in Europe this season (19).

At the moment, he’s averaging 1.1 goals per 90. That’s the highest goals ratio of any PSG player since the QS1 takeover in 2011.

That’s better than Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s remarkable 2015-16 campaign in the French capital when the Swede averaged 1.09 goals per game across all competitions. That’s even above the club’s all-time record goalscorer Kylian Mbapé (26), whose best goals-per-game ratio with Les Parisiens was in 2022-23 (1.04).

The ex-Barcelona striker has registered 5.5 shots per game this season, the highest average for a top goalscorer on this team since Ibrahimovic in 2015-16 (5.3).

PSG could use that kind of production on Tuesday when they face elimination from the UEFA Champions League against Liverpool at Anfield.

Dembélé and his team failed to find the back of the net at the Parc des Princes last week, losing the first leg of that tie 1-0.
