This Sunday, January 4, Chivas Femenil kicked off its participation in the 2026 Clausura with a 2–0 victory over Atlético de San Luis at Estadio AKRON. The match was particularly special, as three of the new signings made their first appearances wearing the red and white, all of them in the starting lineup. Cristina FerralThe commanding Rojiblanca defender logged her first minutes with Guadalajara by playing 65 minutes on the pitch. Ferral remained solid in central defense alongside Casandra Montero, showing leadership and defensive organization, while also being a key piece in building out from the back and linking up with the midfield. Her performance against the San Luis side highlighted her notable qualities on the field.
Jasmine CasarezA dream debut for JasmineCasarez, who opened her account as a goal scorer in her first match as a Rojiblanca. She was responsible for opening the scoring at Estadio AKRON in the 59th minute. In addition, she was consistently involved in the attack, showing presence in the box, applying high pressure, and displaying strong link-up play, mainly operating down the right flank.
Eva GonzálezEva played the full 90 minutes and was one of the standout players of the match. With her talent, she provided clarity in attacking build-ups and showed a strong understanding of the game, connecting effectively with her teammates.
