‘Overall Deal Worth’ – Tottenham Now In ‘Advanced Negotiations’ On 23-year-old’s Exit | OneFootball

Juventus are in ‘advanced negotiations’ to sign Pape Matar Sarr from Tottenham Hotspur on an initial loan, though the deal could become permanent at an overall cost of €30m to €32m.

The north Londoners have been the busiest Premier League side, by some distance, in order to improve upon on back-to-back 17th-place finishes.

Roberto De Zerbi is the man in charge and he may need time to bed in so many fresh faces, especially with Spurs having made a slow start to the campaign.

Spurs have beefed up their engine room with the arrivals of Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali, and are looking to offload fringe stars.

Senegalese star Sarr is not in De Zerbi’s plans, with multiple clubs having been keen on the 23-year-old.

Turkish giants Galatasaray were close to signing the Spurs man, who also agreed on personal terms to join the Cimbom, but no move took shape.

There has been interest from Nottingham Forest and Everton, though it is Juventus who are in pole position and he is set to leave north London for the Old Lady on loan.

The deals of the deal are now becoming clear and the 23-year-old will join Juventus on loan with an option to buy, according to Italian journalist Luca Cerchione.

If Juventus qualify for next season’s Champions League then the option to buy will be transformed into an obligation to buy.

The overall cost of the deal will be between €30m and €32m and could result in Sarr leaving Tottenham permanently.

The 23-year-old midfielder’s deal runs until the summer of 2030 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and he will look to impress at the Old Lady, should the deal go through.

Sarr has played close to 150 games across all competitions for the north Londoners and did win praise for his energetic performances.
