Pablo Pagis to miss Lorient trip to Lille after concussion

Pablo Pagis will miss Lorient’s trip to Lille on Sunday after suffering a concussion against Nice, head coach Olivier Pantaloni confirmed on Thursday.

According to Le Télégramme, he was caught by a challenge from Antoine Mendy shortly before the Nice defender was sent off.

Pantaloni said the concussion protocol is in place and Pagis is on complete rest, with tests planned after one week to determine whether he can resume.

The match in Lille forms part of Ligue 1’s 25th round.

Pagis is Lorient’s leading scorer with eight goals and wears the number 10 shirt.
