Palmeiras are fielding enquiries over Raphael Veiga but are still waiting for formal bids before deciding his future.
According to Globo.com, América-MEX sounded out the midfielder’s agent after coach André Jardine placed him on a wish list for the season, but the Mexican club have not made an offer and are still weighing whether to act.
Valuation is the key issue. A loan is possible, yet América-MEX do not intend a major outlay on a 30-year-old, and Palmeiras would seek financial compensation.
Maurício is also on Jardine’s list, though any deal would cost more than Veiga, reducing the likelihood of a bid. Palmeiras paid about R$ 62 million to sign him from Internacional.
Palmeiras are aware of the interest and would talk if a move suits both sides. For now, the club are cautious because no official offer has arrived.
Veiga’s status has dipped after a 2025 of ups and downs and an injury that ruled him out of many matches. It was his poorest season by numbers since becoming a key figure at Palmeiras.
He played 53 games in 2025, scoring seven with 11 assists. This year he has played two matches with no goal contributions.
