Palmeiras returned to training on Monday after beating Flamengo on Saturday 23, with a potential lift ahead of Thursday’s decisive Conmebol Libertadores meeting with Junior Barranquilla. Ramón Sosa, who had been out with a sprained left ankle, started on-pitch work and took part in ball drills.

According to Nosso Palestra, Bruno Fuchs, Vitor Roque and Benedetti stayed indoors at the club’s training centre, while Piquerez was released to complete his treatment with the Uruguay national team.
