Palmeiras face decisive run before World Cup break with focus on top spot and progression

Palmeiras face a defining stretch before the World Cup break, with 18 fixtures across the league, Libertadores and Copa do Brasil.
According to Nosso Palestra, April and May scheduling is now set. Confirmed league dates are 02/04, 21h30, Palmeiras v Grêmio, home at Arena Barueri, and 05/04 at 19h30, Bahia v Palmeiras, away. Further rounds await CBF confirmation.
In the Libertadores group, 08/04 at 21h30, Junior Barranquilla v Palmeiras, away. On 16/04 at 19h00, Palmeiras v Sporting Cristal, home. On 29/04 at 21h30, Cerro Porteño v Palmeiras, away.
Then 05/05 at 19h00, Sporting Cristal v Palmeiras, away. On 20/05 at 21h30, Palmeiras v Cerro Porteño, home. On 28/05 at 19h00, Palmeiras v Junior Barranquilla, home.
Copa do Brasil dates are set as windows, first leg, Palmeiras v Jacuipense on 22 or 23/04. Second leg, Jacuipense v Palmeiras on 13 or 14/05.
The run will test physical and tactical resources, with international travel, domestic clashes and knockout ties. Effective squad management will be central to sustaining performance.
