According to Globo.com, Neymar left Wednesday’s clássico at half-time with a right thigh injury as Santos drew 0-0 with Palmeiras and were knocked out of the Copa do Brasil quarter-finals. He later posted that Vila Belmiro’s turf was at its worst, full of holes after decompaction the day before, adding that three players felt issues in the first half.

Palmeiras responded by lauding their pitch, presenting the fix for a bad surface as making a good one, congratulating their ground staff and insisting it is always perfect and without holes thanks to daily care.
