Palmeiras are working on a special plan to bring back their internationals for the Bahia game on eight October at Nubank Parque, 21:30 Brasília time. According to Globo.com, the club are discussing return logistics with 11 players away on friendly duty.

National-team friendlies run until six October. Paraguayans Gustavo Gómez, Sosa and Mauricio face Colombia on Friday, then New York Red Bulls on Monday. Gómez is a starter, while Sosa and Mauricio featured against Bolivia.

On Tuesday the sixth, Argentina play Benin in Buenos Aires, with Giay starting the last match and Flaco López on the scoresheet. The same day, Arias will be with Colombia against Peru in Miami.

Piquerez and Emiliano Martínez have the most complex trip, as Uruguay also play on Tuesday, in India. In past windows Palmeiras chartered aircraft or used president Leila Pereira’s plane, but this plan is not yet finalised.
