Palmeiras 'to sign' Bruno Bertinato from Portuguesa | OneFootball

Palmeiras have agreed a deal to sign Portuguesa goalkeeper Bruno Bertinato for 2026, with only formalities to complete.

Band first reported the agreement. The 28-year-old will initially sign until the end of the season, reinforcing the position amid the imminent permanent exit of Kaique to Sporting of Portugal.

The goalkeeping group will then comprise first-choice Carlos Miguel, plus Marcelo Lomba and Kauan Lima from the under-20s and Brazil’s youth set-up.

Palmeiras want a fourth senior option because the plan is for Kauan to drop down at times to play under-20 matches.

Kauan travelled with the squad for the match against Vasco, while Kaique has a trip scheduled for the start of this week.
