Palmeiras’ women used their new dedicated Centre of Excellence for the first time on Friday in Vinhedo, where the team train, according to Globo.com.

The multi-million real project was chiefly financed by the sale of striker Amanda Gutierres to Boston Legacy for about R$ 5.9 million in October last year, with construction starting late in 2025.

The club shared players’ first impressions on social media and plans an official inauguration with president Leila Pereira, with the date still to be confirmed. Bia Zaneratto welcomed having a home of their own and said the team would make the most of it to keep improving. Lais Estevam said she was shocked.

Set on a 692 m² site, the two-storey complex includes reception, kit and laundry areas, a gym and recovery suites, plus medical and nutrition rooms. It also houses bedrooms, dining and meeting spaces, psychology and leisure rooms, and an expanded football department with eight dedicated areas.

The stadium opposite will use Tahoma 31 grass, matching fields prepared for the 2025 Club World Cup and chosen for durability in the Brazilian climate under heavy training loads.

A second phase foresees new dressing rooms for the senior and under-20 sides, while the 2026 budget assigns R$ 23.4 million to women’s football, about R$ 18.5 million for team operations and the remainder for works and equipment.
