Flaco López addressed Palmeiras' approach to the transfer window after scoring their only goal in a draw with Cerro Porteño in the Conmebol Libertadores last 16 on Wednesday.
According to Globo.com, Palmeiras received a R$ 116 million offer from Spartak Moscow for the Argentine, and reiterated they do not plan to negotiate his sale in this window.
López said he is very happy at the club, has clear goals ahead and has already made his decision, which he prefers to keep private. He added that focus should be on Palmeiras, with major targets ahead and the future coming soon.
Atletico de Madrid also made enquiries in recent months but did not submit a formal bid. Palmeiras acknowledged the interest and closed the door on a transfer.
The club regard López as untouchable, a stance echoed by president Leila Pereira before the window opened when she said key players would not be sold. The striker has 17 goals this season and eight assists. The Cerro Porteño draw was only his second start since the World Cup.
