According to Globo.com, the ninth round of Palpite ge reshaped the contest and favoured the leader. Tropa ge posted seven correct calls, matching Alex Escobar and Gato Mestre, and moved clear at the top.

All three unanimous selections landed: Cruzeiro beat Vitória at the Mineirão, Santos defeated Remo at home and Palmeiras overcame Grêmio. Every participant scored in those ties.

Fluminense v Corinthians also brought a flurry of points. Seven participants picked a tricolour win, while André Loffredo and Tiago Medeiros backed the draw.

Bragantino v Flamengo told a different story, as the São Paulo side's victory caught most out. Only Fred Bruno called it correctly.

Just two predicted Internacional v São Paulo to finish level. Atlético-MG's win over Chapecoense was also backed by only two, Gato Mestre and Tiago Medeires.
