Pape Moussa Fall has burst out of the blocks for Metz, the 22-year-old 2.03m centre-forward already on five Ligue 2 goals after a hat-trick in the 4-1 win over Rodez on Saturday. According to L'Équipe, he came through Metz's partnership with Senegalese academy Génération Foot.
He headed in on 8 minutes, finished with his left foot on 42 minutes, then nodded another on 58 minutes. All five of his league goals have come at Saint-Symphorien.
He spent 2023 to 2025 on loan at Belgian affiliate Seraing, then had a loan spell with La Louvière, also in Belgium.
Touré said a ruptured cruciate ligament sidelined him from January to August 2025, and welcomed Habib Diallo's move to Le Mans on Tuesday, which he feels opens the door for Fall. He believes the striker has vast scope to improve, particularly technically.
Luxembourg coach Luc Holtz has kept him grounded, noting he should have converted his very first chance in the 2nd minute after skewing a left-foot attempt, before praising how his imposing physique is difficult to defend against. Ligue 2 defenders may struggle if this continues.
