The Paraguay vs Peru Liga MX match will be broadcast live online and on TV as Los Guaranies host Los Incas at the Estadio Defensores del Chaco this Thursday, October 8, at 3:30 p.m. Pacific.
The CONMEBOL 2022 World Cup qualifiers will begin this Thursday with what is set to be a hard-fought match between Paraguay and Peru. Due to COVID restrictions, there will be no fans in the stands for these qualifiers, which does affect teams like Paraguay, who count on an intimidating fan presence.
Paraguay has a solid squad with players spread throughout America’s top leagues and Europe. Some of the standouts include Miguel Almiron of Newcastle United and Antonio Sanabria of Real Betis, who will guide the attack.
Peru had a historic run in the World Cup qualifiers for the 2018 edition of the competition and will be looking to make a splash yet again. Experienced manager Ricardo Gareca is still at the helm of the team as there are a lot of concerns with this team.
The biggest worry for La Blanquirroja is the absence of team captain and top scorer Paolo Guerrero, who is injured. Gareca will need to count on players like Jefferson Farfan, Andre Carrillo and Raul Ruidiaz to guide the attack in this match.
