Paris FC climb to second as Kebbal sparks home win

Paris FC beat Strasbourg 2-1 at Stade Jean Bouin to rise from third to second in Ligue 1 and extend their unbeaten start to five matches.

In the 18th minute, Ilan Kebbal drove a left-footer high into the centre after Lassine Sinayoko's lay-off to give the hosts control.

After the restart, Kevin Trapp pushed away a Sebastian Nanasi header (48.) as Le Racing finally threatened.

Pablo Pagis doubled the lead with a crisp finish into the top right from Maxime Lopez's fast-break cross (57.).

Le Racing pulled one back late when Mamadou Mbow turned into his own net (88.), setting up a nervy finish.

Paris FC produced 17 attempts, seven on target, underlining their front-foot display. Le Racing managed five attempts, testing the goalkeeper once.
