On his X account, Senegalese international Moustapha Mbow paid tribute to Stéphane Gilli.

After Stéphane Gilli was dismissed by Paris FC this weekend, he received a touching tribute from Moustapha Mbow. The Senegalese center-back made sure to thank his former coach.

"Coach, I really wanted to take the time to say thank you. Thank you for everything you brought me, for your patience, your demands, your outbursts that stung at the time but helped me grow, and above all for believing in me. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything," wrote the Senegalese defender on X.
