Paris FC near deal for Lassine Sinayoko, final green light hinges on Auxerre talks | OneFootball

According to L'Équipe, Paris FC and Auxerre have agreed in principle over Lassine Sinayoko’s transfer, but final approval depends on him first returning to Burgundy to speak with his current directors.

He is in Paris and was seen with PFC staff at a nearby hotel, but has not been authorised to join. Paris FC also signed Lorient’s Pablo Pagis, who trained on Friday before a friendly against Stade de Reims.

Sinayoko has clashed with Auxerre over the terms and price of his exit. After outlining his stance to head coach Will Still and some team-mates, he went on strike from training, then left on Tuesday with his representatives.

Since then he has not contacted the club. He believes, backed by a letter from president Baptiste Malherbe, that he can depart for 6.5 million euros plus bonuses, the fee he was due to join Lens for last August.

Permission to leave exists, but not at that price. The letter pre-dated his extension, announced in January through to June 2027, and his value is considered higher after 12 Ligue 1 goals in 2025-2026.

The letter’s legal weight is disputed, but talks have centred on a sum understood to sit between 6.5 million, excluding bonuses, and 10 million, below late interest from Hull City at 13 million excluding bonuses, and acceptable to Sinayoko. Before anything is finalised, Auxerre want the striker to return for a last conversation, which could clear the transfer. All sides appear ready to move on, though not at any price.
