Paris FC’s Pablo Pagis (23) is reportedly on the extended list of players selected by Zinédine Zidane for his debut as manager of the French national team, according to information from L’Équipe.

Having joined Paris FC this summer from FC Lorient in a deal worth around €15m, the attacking midfielder has marked his Parisian debut with one assist in three matches.

Having put in some impressive performances last season, Pagis notably stood out by scoring 10 goals and providing five assists in 28 Ligue 1 appearances for Les Merlus.

Having never been selected for any of France’s youth teams, the Montbéliard-born player could therefore kick off his international career with Les Bleus straight away. To find out, however, we will have to wait until 18th September, when Zidane will reveal his first squad, as Les Bleus are set to play four Nations League group stage matches in the coming weeks.
