Ciro Immobile has ended his playing career at 36, bringing his short spell at Paris FC to a close despite a contract through 2026-27.
The club said in a statement that the Italy striker had decided to retire to devote most of his time to his loved ones after 17 years as a professional.
He won Euro 2021 with Italy, took the European Golden Shoe in 2020 with Lazio, finished Serie A top scorer four times and led the Europa League scoring in 2020. Across more than 650 senior games he scored over 320 goals.
Immobile joined Paris FC in January 2026 for the final chapter of his career.
Last season he made 13 appearances across Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France, scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists.
