Paris has sprouted PSG-themed street plaques after the club’s second Champions League title, with player-inspired names appearing across Paris.

According to L'Équipe, names such as « Boulevard Ousmane », « rue de Doué », « pont de Bir-Hakimi » and « place du colonel Fabian » have been spotted since Sunday, following the 1-1 draw and 4-3 win on penalties against Arsenal. They cover the original boulevard Haussmann, rue de Douai, pont de Bir-Hakeim and place du colonel Fabien. The project is by Loïc Andria and Benoît Metivier, produced by Julia, founder of The True Frame.

Titled « Les rues de la victoire », the plaques are fixed beneath the official street names. Beneath each spoof name, a line reads "Artisan du premier back to back".

A similar initiative appeared last year after PSG’s first triumph in the competition. This year the roll-out is broader.

In all, 14 streets, boulevards or avenues have been renamed by the artists.
