Parma have officially put reported Inter target Gervinho on the transfer market, according to an Italian media report today.
As per TuttoMercatoWeb, the Ducali club have decided to place the experienced Ivorian on the market after several problems in the past year and it is said that they are willing to evaluate all offers made.
This news will come as a real boost to Inter’s hopes of signing the former Arsenal man, who they have been strongly linked with acquiring for several months now.
Inter tried to sign him at the end of the last transfer window but could not get a deal done and they have seemingly maintained their interest in him, as they continue to look to bring in a deputy to current star striker Romelu Lukaku.
This season the 33-year-old, who is contracted to Parma until 2022, has made 12 appearances, in which he has scored four goals and provided a single assist for his teammates.
Roberto D’Aversa has just been reappointed as the club’s head coach but it would appear this does not influence the Gialloblu’s decision on Gervinho.
