Carlos Cuesta welcomes Benjamin Cremaschi back at Parma after an ‘important’ U20 World Cup where he made a ‘big contribution’ for the USA U20.

Cremaschi joined Parma on an initial loan deal from Inter Miami in the summer and is waiting to make his Serie A debut at the Tardini. Tomorrow, he’ll be available for an away game at Genoa.

The American talent has returned to Parma after the USA’s elimination from the U20 World Cup quarter-finals, but Cremaschi was one of the best players in the tournament, amassing five goals and two assists in five matches.

He even scored a brace against Italy U20 in the Round of 16, contributing to a 3-0 win against the Azzurrini.

“Surely, the World Cup was very important for him; he has made a big contribution,” Cuesta said at a press conference on Saturday via TMW.

“He has clear skill sets. He can score goals and create spaces with his movements. Surely, he can help us.”
