The FC Barcelona midfielder Pedri has truly been shining for the last couple of seasons and has put in some very strong claims to be recognized as one of the very best players in the world in his position with his consistently top-class performances.

In fact, some of the most notable commentators on European football have already recognized the Canarian as the best in his position, and arguably the commentator who has been most vocal about his praise for Pedri has been the former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes.

Although Pedri has been recognized as one of the best in his position, there is no doubt that Frenkie de Jong is also a key part of this Blaugrana team, and deserves to have his name among the best midfielders, as he has formed a very good partnership with the Canarian in the middle of the pitch.
