VfL Wolfsburg have extended Pavao Pervan’s contract by one year to 30 June 2027, the club said in a statement.
The Austrian goalkeeper, 38, will continue as the back-up for another season, taking him into a ninth campaign with the club.
Pervan said he was incredibly happy to continue at Wolfsburg. He added he wants to give something back to the club and its supporters with his attitude and commitment in recognition of the trust shown, and that this is not taken for granted and makes him proud.
He joined from LASK Linz in July 2018 and has made 45 appearances for Wolfsburg.
Sporting director Pirmin Schwegler described Pervan as an indispensable presence in the squad and dressing room, praising his professionalism, loyalty and commitment, and said they are pleased he remains a pillar of the team.
