Ahead of tonight’s clash between AC Milan and Atalanta, Strahinja Pavlovic spoke to the media and shared his thoughts above all on the new formation.

Sergio Conceicao deployed a 3-4-3 formation against Udinese and as Milan won that game 4-0, he has decided to continue with the system for tonight’s game. Not only that, but he has also gone with the same players for the starting eleven.

In other words, Pavlovic is starting in defence once again and speaking to DAZN just a few minutes ago (via MilanNews), he shared his thoughts on the new formation. Of course, he also said a few words about Atalanta, which he described as ‘a great team’.

“A litmus test? Yes, exactly. We did well against Udinese with three defenders. We are happy and today we have another chance. Atalanta are a great team and a difficult opponent, but we have to do as we did in the last match and even better,” he stated.

It remains to be seen if Pavlovic and his defensive teammates will be able to keep another clean sheet. It sure will be difficult against the league’s top scorer, Mateo Retegui, who also needs just one goal to equal a Pippo Inzaghi record.
