Pedro and Samuel Lino have been called up by Carlo Ancelotti for Brazil’s September friendlies, representing Flamengo. According to Coluna Do Fla, the club shared a video of the pair celebrating their selections.

Ancelotti has named 10 Brazil-based players for this window, with the Flamengo duo among them.

Over the last five seasons with Flamengo, Pedro has played 246 games, scoring 133 goals and supplying 34 assists, an average of 49.2 games, 26.6 goals and 6.8 assists per season.

Lino arrived as the most expensive signing in the club’s history and endured an inconsistent start that drew criticism, but he is now in strong form with decisive displays, including two goals in the win over Botafogo.

Brazil face Australia on 25 September at Queensland Country Bank in Townsville, then again on 29 September at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane. The third friendly is against India on three October at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata.
