According to Meu Timao, right-back Pedro Milans made his Corinthians debut in the 1-0 win over Velo Clube, starting at Benito Agnelo Castellano.

The Uruguayan was most involved before the break as Corinthians pushed down his flank. With limited action after half-time, the number 20 was replaced by Matheuzinho.

During his outing he recorded two tackles, one interception, one blocked shot and two clearances, completed one cross and posted 78% passing.

Milans was unveiled on Saturday at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava as a new signing and outlined his reasons for choosing the club.

He had been a free agent since the start of the year after failing to agree renewal terms with Peñarol, where he spent the past four seasons. In 2025 he made 42 appearances and supplied two assists.

A Juventud de Las Piedras graduate, he fits Corinthians’ recent focus on free transfers or loans. He now competes with Matheuzinho at right-back, alongside youngster João Vitor Jacaré.

Available to head coach Dorival Júnior, Milans is preparing for Corinthians’ Brasileirão opener on Wednesday. They face Bahia at 20:00 at Vila Belmiro.
